How is the Christmas planning going?

I just thought I would check in with you all to see how your festive planning is coming along? I have to say that I did loads back when I was doing my planning series with you in October and then I didn't do any. I am just now picking it back up again for a couple of reasons. Firsly now we are actually into December I am feeling super festive and secondly we now know a lot more about what we are doing over Christmas so that all helps.

Here is my to do list or what I need to crack on with:
  1. We still haven't sorted our Christmas cards out as we still need to get our photo shoot done. I am waiting on a prop which will hopefully be here this week so we can crack on with that. It means that cards will go out much closer to Christmas than I had hoped but that is just the way it is.
  2. We need to finalise plans with our friends. We talked about where we were going and what we were doing but we now need to finalise all that.
  3. We now know that we are hosting Christmas day dinner / lunch for my outlaws errr I mean inlaws, so I need to work out what we are going to be eating and all that jazz!
  4. I want to start doing some Christmas baking so I am going to work out what I want to make and when and I might throw some crafty projects in there too.
I am taking part in VLOGMAS over on my vlogging youtube channel (vlogging everyday in December) so if you wanted to come and follow me around over there you will get to see day by day what I am doing and how my planning preparations are coming along. I also hope to check back in with you again either on my Mrs Brimbles YouTube channel or again on this blog with more planning as well as the continued decoration (you know already that my dashboard advent is in full swing!).

I love the decoration aspect of it all just as much as the planning. It gives me a lot of pleasure to decorate and get creative and I know that I am not alone in that. There are lots of things out there on the market now to help you not only with your planning but also with your decoration aspect. I love graphic design elements very much and I love these printables from Black Forest Designs. You may remember that I featured her on my blog back in August and I just really genuinely love her designs. I very much love woodland creatures and deer especially at Christmas and I think this deer design is stunning, so jealous I didn't design it lol!

To help you out with your continued planning, the very lovely Noemi from Black Forest Designs has very kindly offered a giveaway of some of her Christmas planning printables. 1. I did alot of my planning during your series! Your videos really helped me start thinking. So much so that I even did a Christmas Plan series on my blog. Now I am just enjoying the month. I don't really like planning since this is a cold month and sickness flies around. Oh! And I am doing a December Daily Album. Yup. =]
