Planner Sticker Haul (Decorative & functional)

I have a planner sticker haul to share with you today, both the decorative sort and the functional (whilst being pretty) sort! Sheree reached out to me and asked me if I would do a review / share the love of her new sticker business and of course, I am not one to turn down an opportunity like that lol! The lovely Julie you have seen on the blog before and I did a swap with her. I sent her some bits and she sent me some stickers. I thought I would combine the two together to make it into a 'Haul' for your viewing pleasure...

If you like what you see, which I am sure you will please do go and check out both of these ladies shops:

Handcrafted by Sheree: https://www.etsy.com/shop/handcraftedbysheree use code MRSBRIMBLES10 for 10% off your purchase, no minimum spend.

Pinkhedgehogpretties: https://www.etsy.com/shop/pinkhedgehogpretties

and if you would prefer to see stills:

Here are the lovely stickers from Sheree, she even made me my own custom logo stickers which just blew me away!

I think this little sampler is something you get with your order, don't quote me on it though! I love the little hashtags, they are so darling!

And just look at the cuteness of this halloween set! Adorbs!

and then from Julie, as well as some others, she sent me these amazing Autumnal ones...

So that is me all sorted!

Filofax A5 Turqoise Patent Domino + My Birthday Present Haul

It was my birthday on Wednesday and I thought I would share with you the things that I was so lucky enough to receive. I felt (and still do) feel very loved. All my friends and family were so kind and thoughtful and generous and I got some lovely things. They all know me so well as you will see from the video, everything is just so me!

Some of the presentd I kinda didn't want to open, I mean I did because I wanted to see what was inside but the packaging was just so amazing that it seemed a shame to ruin it. I instantly thought of Julie Andrews and her voice has been going round in my head..."brown paper packages tied up with string" it is true isn't it, they are one of your favourite things especially when they are this pretty!

Mr B told me on Tuesday morning as he was leaving for work that he was expecting two parcels and that I wasn't to touch them or snoop. I mean seriously when someone says that to you, what are you going to do? That's right you are going to try to squeeze, shake and try to work out the contents of the box. I knew it was for me otherwise he wouldn't have said that, the other giveaway was that the box was covered in Colemans tape and Mr B never buys stationery!

Well on Wednesday when I opened my presents I discovered that it was what I thought it was. I had a good hunch as I tipped Jon off that Colemans had 30% off Filofaxes at the moment, he listened and he bought me the A5 Domino in patent turqoise. Oh my goodness, it looked lovely from photos on the net but in really life it is absolutely stunning. I love it so much!

I will be back at some point to share with you my set up. I have two A5 Filofaxes on the go already, one is a journal and the other is a home maintenace / household binder. All my other planners are personal size. One of my personal size planners houses all the information for the fur babies but I am finding this size not working. All the invoices and information the vets give us is A5 so time to upgrade the size of the girls planner! Of course I will show you how I set that up and everything. I have a few things in the pipeline I need to share, I just need to find the time in which to do it as life just seems so busy at the moment. Best use a planner to plan in some time then huh!

Anyways my lovlies, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I was very kindly given, I know a lot of you like hauls so you can discover new products yourself and just have a nosey, I know I do. I vlogged on my birthday as we went to London for the day and I have popped that in below if you would like to watch it. See you soon!

Supplier Spotlight - Hey Charlie!

I am back with another supplier spotlight and this week I have for you...Hey Charlie.

Charlie is a fellow blogger and also recently took part in the Filofax Blogger challenge. I was delighted to find out that Charlie has started her very own Etsy shop selling stationery items and other items aimed at planners and pen pallers, is that how you say people who pen pal? Anyways you get the gist of what I mean!

When my box of goodies came it was presented beautifully wrapped in tissue paper with a hand written note from Charlie herself...

Inside my box were some lovely goodies that I would like to share with you. This cute little fabric pouch is one of her 'Pen Pal Grab Bags' which was just bursting with goodies. I am not showing all of them here in this photo but believe me there was lots inside and everything was just lovely! I received two sheets of masking stickers which for me personally was exciting as I have never used them before so I am going to try them and see how I get on!

I also wanted to share with you this gorgeous little glitter journal / notebook. It is A6 in size so very handy for putting in your bag whilst you are on the go. It feels great in your hand, it is a hard thing to describe but it is nice and chunky to feel good but not too chunky that it is chunky! I know, odd but it just feels right to me. Whilst we are talking about feeling, it also has a plastic cover which again, I can't put my finger on it but it just feels right!

I love all of my goodies from Hey Charlie, definitely an Etsy shop to keep an eye on for the future!!

You can also find Charlie over on her blog... http://heycharlieblog.com/

Linkys Dream Stationery Subscription Box Unboxing - August 2014

Well it is that wonderful time of the month again folks, the time when a lovely courier lady knocks on my door and hands me a beautifully wrapped package which I know is going to be jam packed full of yummy stationery goodies and goodies for my Filofax too! I sign as quickly as I can and then dash upstairs to start the unboxing. No matter what I am doing it can wait, I have to see what is inside the yummy box.

If you would like to see me 'unbox the box' so you can get a better feel for the items and size etc please do watch the video below.

So let's get cracking, of course again the box came delightfully wrapped / packaged both inside and out.

And then on the inside there was a mixture of individually wrapped items and other little bits and bobs along with sweeties, gotta love the sweeties and my all time favourite, which Linkys knows that I adore...pompoms!! Linkys knows I am collecting a jar of pompoms and there were a lot extra in this box so I think she through some more in for me which I lurrrrrve! I just need to buy myself a really big beautiful jar to put them in now. I really liked the big pink postcard, it made me smile so much, such a lovely thing to read and be faced with.

So what did I get... well I got a plaque for my craft room which you can see on the below left, that is just so me isn't it! One thing I really wanted to point out and what makes the Linkys box stand out from other boxes is that she takes the time to really get to know you and your likes and then tailors the box to suit you. This box could not be any more suited to me! You know I have a love for journalling, art, Filofaxes and Stationery and this box was a mixture of all of that. Just perfect. I also received a journalin hot pink with beautiful cream paper inside and a set of mini colouring pencils in a tube which is just perfect for travelling with.

I also received this super cute foxy rubber which matches my fox dashboards perfectly. There was also a full size washi tape, turqoise pen and pack of note papers. All of which I love too. There is nothing in this box I don't!

Next up, goodies for my Filofax... a set of handmade dividers for my personal size Filofax (oh when you order if you have a planner, and want planner goodies just make sure you tell her what size you would like, if you don't have a planner and just want stationery you can get that too!). I have never tried tabs on the top so I am excited to try those. There was also this stunningly gorgeous charm with flowers and a watering can, super super cute!

Then lastly but by no means leastly, I received two rubber stamps, a cloud paper clip and various project life cards, post its, stickers and just general lovely little bits and bobs. It is the extra little bits and bobs that just help to make this box all that more special I think and all of them will be put to use in some way, shape or form.

So all in all another fantastic box. If you agree why not get one too! They are very popular so I would act quickly. August is already sold out and September is getting limited. If you do miss out for September then you can always order October, November or December. In fact why not tell your loved ones to order you a box as a Christmas present? Perfect for any stationery or planner lover.

Boxes are priced at just £15 with shipping in the UK at £3, she does ship internationally and the price is dependent on your Country, you just need to get in touch with her for a quote! Head on over to LinkysDream.co.uk to order yours!

I know everyone's boxes are different as she tries to cater to your needs. If you would like to see what someone else got why not head on over to Amanda's blog: She's Eclectic as Amanda has posted what she got too, that way you get a better feel if you think this is something that you would like to get. I love the pencil case that Amanda got, very jealous there lol!

I am off now to start using some of the goodies, I know exactly what I am going to do with them but you will  have to wait to find out more...

My Immortal Book Haul

I got a book haul to share with you. I didn't actually purchase any of these books, they were given to me by a friend and they are all books about Immortals. Some are just immortals, like Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan and then there are a couple of Vampires, one Warewolf and then one Angels. A bit of a mixed back. I can't wait to read some of them. Of course they now form part of my to be read pile and subsequently a to be reviewed and YouTube'd pile so stay tuned for that.

If you have read any of the books I would love to know what you think. No spoilers though lol!
