New journal and travelers notebook!

I very recently went on an Etsy hunt in order to look for a present for my lovely friend Daisy of My Green Cow. She loves all things planner, stationery and journal like I do and also the colour yellow. I came accross a seller called Dixie Dorie and saw the perfect thing. When it came I had this horrible inner battle...I wanted to keep it because it was so gorgeous. Of course I gave it to Daisy but I couldn't get it out of my mind!

I loved the spine on it and I loved that it had 6 elastics. I liked the colour but it was the construction that kept on calling to me. It's kinda weird because it was a 'personal' size and I have always used the 'standard' size.

So one day whilst browsing on instagram the seller posted a photo of the most gorgeous fabric that totally spoke to my soul. I mean it is just so me, so much like the little characters that I draw that I had to ask if she could make me a custom order in my favourite colour...teal with that fabric. She said yes, so I sold a couple of planners in the facebook planner de-stash group that were no longer giving me joy (I was awake when I read the Marie Kondo book lol!) in order to be able to fund it.

See what I mean! The fabric is amazing. I posted a photo on instagram this morning of some doodles I have that I will be sharing on Patreon in the form of collage and design sheets as well as a tutorial and whilst not 100% the same you can see similarities in the style and why this fabric would appeal to me. Here is the photo of my doodles:

Well it came and it did not disappoint. I thought I would share an unboxing with you so that you can see what it is like. The colour is amazing. I just love anything on the mint to teal spectrum of greeny blues ha ha! It makes me happy.

The seller also sent me a couple of other items too which was incredibly generous and very kind indeed. I absolutely love them! In true Anna style I have been busy making inserts and I will probably do another post when I am all set up and ready to go!

Whilst we talk about inserts, I was also sent a couple of inserts to share and review with you so I have included those in my haul too. Check out the video to see everything:

The Blogger Planner Review / Show & Tell

In the Summer I was approached by 'The Bloggers Planner' if I would like to review their planner. Of course I said yes other wise there would be no post that you are reading, that stands to reason huh! I must publicly apologise for taking so long to get this review done and posted, it's not for lack of planning it is more of an abundance of posts to get up and out, you know the feeling, too many post ideas so little time to get it done and up! lol Blogger problems huh! So please do accept my apologies for that and I hope you enjoy have a look at the planner...

Here are their links if you would like to find out more about their range:

Web: http://www.thebloggersplanner.com
Twitter: https://twitter.com/blog_planner
Instagram: https://instagram.com/blog_planner/

In a nutshell, if it a very beautiful /aesthetically pleasing but it is not for me I am afraid. Why? Well I don't like a bound planner like this, I like mine either spiral bound or ring bound so that it can lay flat and I can add things in and out and secondly I like my week all on the same page!

What do you think of the planner? If it wasn't for those two things it would definitely be for me!

Holey Moley Sketch Book Review

Every once in a while I am approached by a company and asked if I would be able to review their products. It doesn't happen all that often and when it does I don't always say yes but when it comes to a product that I feel would be a good fit I say yes. I am even more than happy when it is a fledgling business run by an artist who is looking for some promotion to kick start their business. So today on the blog I am reviewing a sketch book from Holey Moley.

I was able to choose the one that resonated most with me and I chose this super cute pencil design. I thought it was most apt for a sketch book lol. I love how it has been designed and made by the artist Aysha Samrin herself.

So the book itself is handmade and is of a lovely quality. It has a soft cover made from what feels like a heavyweight card stock with a beautiful silky finish. The colours in the design are rich and just lovely. The paper inside, I am not sure what it is but it is gorgeous. I guess it helps when an artist makes a sketch book as they know exactly what sort of paper other artists want! It is a lovely smooth finish sketch paper.

All in all the book is lovely, very well made and designed. priced at £5.50 it is a little pricey compared to walking in to Hobbycraft and purchasing one of their similar looking A5 sketchbooks, however what I believe you are paying for here is firstly, the art and design on the cover as the Hobbycraft ones are plain. And secondly the paper inside as the Hobbycraft ones tend to have pretty naff cartridge paper inside! I have learnt over time that I feel more inspired to create and that creation turns out better when I use nice paper!

Thank you to Holey Moley for sending this to me to review, I am going to very much enjoy using it. If you would like to learn more please check out:

The Badger Box - Quirky / Illustrated Gifts & Stationery

I was approached by the lovely Becca who runs an online shop called The Clever Badger as they have just launched a subscription box called The Badger Box. When Becca introduced herself she said that "The Clever Badger sells a range of quirky and illustrated gifts" so you can imagine how intrigued I was! I mean if you don't know me by now lol! You know that I love finding unique presents and stationery from designers and artisans, especially in the UK. Please do go and check out her website as she really does have some fantastic products.

Anyway obviously I said yes I would love to review your box...

What is the badger Box and how much etc?

The Badger Box is a monthly subscription box which contains four or five items with one commissioned by a UK based designer. The products will be a mixture of homewares, stationery, gifts, jewellery and greeting cards. Each box is themed, this month the theme was 'it's getting hot out there' and next month the theme is 'Great Adventures' which is released on 28th June 2015 at 7am.  A one off box is £18, a rolling subscription is £16 and £50 for 3 months worth of boxes. Shipping is free for all UK orders. International shipping will be the flat rate of £4.

So what did I receive?

I filmed my unboxing so check that out below.

In my box I received:

  • A packet of sweeties (errrrm yeah they are long gone!!)
  • A pair of 2d glasses but I am not sure what that is about he he!
  • A seed bomb - you throw it to scatter flower seeds around
  • A felt coaster
  • A greetings card
  • An art print

So what do I think?

I really like the concept of this box. I love the products that The Clever Badger sells so I know we can expect good things from the box in the future and I am really looking forward to following them on social media to see how the box grows and develops and finding out about new artists etc. I loved the theme of the box for sure and the quality of the items was really good. For me I would prefer if the print was 'finished' for want of a better word. It is a great piece of art but I think it would feel better if it was in a mount or something. It's hard to explain but for me it would just feel more like a product than a piece of card. I know from curating my own boxes that you know how much the RRP of an item is but other people don't always see this in the same way so it is hard for me to review this box in a way. I am more than sure that the RRP of the products meets what the box retails for but in my personal opinion it just felt like it was a bit shy of this. I don't want that to come accross as a bad thing because as I say, I know what that is like from a box curator point of view BUT I am all about giving honest reviews and feedback so I can only speak as I find. This is however the first ever box and so it can only grow over time. Overall I did really like the box though. Please do leave some feedback to let Becca know what your thoughts are, I am sure she would love to read them!

To find out more about the box and about The Clever Badger please check out these links:

If you are interested in purchasing a box, boxes will be available on June 28th at 7am on a first come, first served basis! To register your interest email info@thecleverbadger.com

Book Review - The Ravens Head by Karen Maitland

Auther: Karen Maitland
Publisher: Headline Review (12 Mar. 2015)
ISBN: 978-1472215062

From the back:

A gothic delight, swirling with the smoke of alchemy about a young man whose clumsy attempt at blackmail leaves him master of a raven's head ... the Alchemical symbol of death

The Raven's Head by Karen Maitland, author of the bestselling and much-loved Company of Liars, will delight fans of Kate Mosse or Deborah Harkness seeking a new, dark fix.

'A compelling blend of historical grit and supernatural twists' Daily Mail on The Falcons of Fire and Ice

Vincent is an apprentice librarian who stumbles upon a secret powerful enough to destroy his master. With the foolish arrogance of youth, he attempts blackmail but the attempt fails and Vincent finds himself on the run and in possession of an intricately carved silver raven's head.

Any attempt to sell the head fails ... until Vincent tries to palm it off on the intimidating Lord Sylvain - unbeknown to Vincent, a powerful Alchemist with an all-consuming quest. Once more Vincent's life is in danger because Sylvain and his neighbours, the menacing White Canons, consider him a predestined sacrifice in their shocking experiment.

Chilling and with compelling hints of the supernatural, The Raven's Head is a triumph for Karen Maitland, Queen of the Dark Ages.

My Review

OK so let me start by saying that this book really is as macabre as it says it is and even lurid at times! At times I was not sure if I liked it because it tugged on a slight moral thing for me (I really don't want to say what because I don't want to ruin the story!) but then I had to remember that it is set in an age where things are very different to how we live now. I am not sure when this is set but I kind of want to say medieval!?

I really struggled to get into Karen Maitland's 'The Vanishing Witch" and to some extend I did a little with this book but once I got into it, I was into it! The first half of the book, like many I read, was fairly slow going but you do have to bear with it because it really is setting the scene and weaving all of the details for what is to come later on in the book. Without all that it probably wouldn't make much sense.

From the start of the book we follow three 'sets' of people whose stories all come together at the end of the book into something quite alarming and very interesting. So you have all heard of the philosophers stone in Harry Potter right? Well erase all that and you will see alchemy in a very different way.

This book was addictive in the end and left me wanting more which I always think is a really good sign for a book and they way it was left means there could quite easily be a sequel!

Did you know Filofax do bags?

Did you know that Filofax also sells bags? Well I didn't, not until last year when I was browsing on the Filofax website. To be perfectly frank I have never purchased a Filofax directly from Filofax, usually I have bought my planners from another shop like Rymans or Paperchase but never directly.

If you remember back in November I won a Blogger competition with Filofax to come up with the idea for their next Blogger challenge. As my prize I was allowed to choose a few items from their website to keep for myself. Of course I didn't keep everything for myself, I never do but somethings I did and guess what...one of those things was a bag!

OK so why did this planner loving person opt for a bag over a planner? It would be most logical to go for a planner wouldn't it! Well it is no secret that I have one or two planners so I didn't technically "need" a new planner, although there are plenty that are on my one day wish list. So when browsing and trying to decide what I should go for I came across the Filofax bag section and one in particular caught my eye.

Now I have often said this over on my vlogging channel but I am not a clothes person. I wrote a guest blog post over on the Prudent Pair blog about that too! Arts and crafts stuff, yes but clothes not so much. I do like to look at clothes and accessories but never really find something that I like, anyway rather than repeat what I said in my blog post for the Prudent Pair why not read about it here They are a fledgling blog so would really appreciate the support. I am not a bag person, however this bag really caught my eye. I wasn't sure what it was about it, whether it was the colour or the style but I just knew that I had to have it!

I have held off posting a review about it because I like to give things a good road test before sharing a review. I think it is very important to get to really know a product and how it works before sharing an opinion. You may say that three months is too much time and I should know sooner than that, well as a general rule I don't use this style of bag that often. I prefer a cross body bag when I am out shopping because I like to have my hands free for browsing and carrying my shopping. There are times though when I want this style of bag or a bigger one. There are times when I need to carry a lot or I need to 'smarten up', you know that sort of thing. I told you I am not massively into clothes so I only have a couple of bags. My larger bag in this sort of style gave up the fight not long before I won the competition so I did need something to replace it so it was rather timely. Because I don't use this style of bag all that often this bag hasn't seen that much action so only now do I feel confident to write and share my review.

Well firstly I love the colour. On the website it is listed as 'bright blue' and well yes I think that is a very accurate description. In fact they also have this bag in black and burnt orange and I did struggle to decide on which colour to go for. The black is very classic and no doubt would go with everything but the two colours were calling out to my heart. I wear a lot of blue so that is purely what I based my decision on and nothing else. I am glad that I did go for that colour as it is stunning in every way but I do still love that burnt orange...

When it arrived it was in a dust bag tote which was nice to see it was protected. This is my very first leather bag so I don't really know what to expect from it or what to look for. As I said I am by no means a fashion blogger or guru and know nothing about these things. I can only speak as I find which I am sure is only a good thing as this way you get a very honest opinion. I don't know what to look out for and review in terms of composition and findings and all that jazz, is that even what one calls it? So here you go, here is my review. It's a nice bag. There you go thanks for reading, bye! he he! No in all seriousness, I really like it.

The bag is of the same quality that I have come to expect from other high end Filofax products. The grain of the leather is very similar to my Finsbury Filofax planner, I don't know if it is the same but it is very similar to me anyway. The zipper has leather tabs and there are little tabs at the end of the zipper with Filofax stamped into it so anyone could see that brand. I don't think you would purchase this bag to 'show off' the brand neccessarily as I don't think many people who are into bags would recognise this and appreciate the quality and value. Filofax and planner people would but I am not sure if you were not in this community if you would. I mean if I were spending this money on a bag and I wasn't into my planners, I probably wouldn't give this bag a second look and would probably opt for a 'well known bag name'. Such a shame as it is such a lovely bag it really is. It has a beautiful construction and I am very happy with it. The only thing I will say is that it needs to have 'things' in it in order to look good as other wise it has a squishy look to it, what I mean is that the sides sort of start to fall in a bit. The more that is in it, the more padded out it gets and looks much nicer from the outside. The bag on it's own is of a fairly sizeable weight without anything in it though so I would want to watch what I am cramming in there! The handles are very sturdy and even stand up on their own too which I really like.

Overall I am really pleased with it. The bag is stylish and fits in with my style. It is practical as well as looking good and I know that it is sturdy and durable and of a good quality to hopefully last a long time. I think I will get tired of this bag before it wears out!

So this post is just my review on thoughts on the bag in general and on the outside of the bag. I am planning to do a whole other blog post on the inside as, well, the inside is rather lovely. That and I thought you gals might like to see what I carry in there and can get in there too!

Well as a non fashion blogger and someone who doesn't 'style' outfits I don't think I did too badly! This is just me and what I would normally wear so you can see how a 'real' person would wear and use this bag. I like to keep it real he he!

I will be back soon with an inside look / tour for you so stay tuned for that. If there is anything else you would like to know about this bag then please do let me know so that I can include it in my next post for you.

I am not sure where this bag retails other than on the Filofax website but here are the details:

Supplier Spotlight - ItsAMumsThing

The first supplier spotlight of the year! As you know as and when I purchase new products, come accross something new or a supplier contacts me to do a review for them, I aim to share this with you in the form of a Wednesday Supplier Spotlight feature.

So today I am featuring Megan Stanbury who trades on Etsy under the name ItsAMumsThing. Megan approached me towards the end of last year and asked if I could review her dashboards and feature her on the blog. I will let Megan do the introductions in her own words:

I am a bubbly, coffee drinking, dog loving, sweet treat loving, red haired mum to a beautiful baby boy. I live at home with my fiance, dog and son. I spend most of my time crafting, creating, taking photos and spending time with the people I love. I spent the last 2 years at high school focusing on art and studied for a year and a half at college studying art and design so I have always loved art.
I have also loved organising and planking my life. I am always writing lists and then writing list of the lists I have just written. I never really knew how I could combine the both until I found the filofax community and starting making dashboards. I started ItsAMumsThing as a stay at home mum I needed to find something to fill my spare time while doing something I loved and this was a perfect fit.

So as you can see Megan creates dashboards using her own art. I have four to show you today but you can see more over on Megan's Etsy Shop.

The first dashboard that Megan sent me has to be my favourite and you can see why....

Yes it is a bunny. Who would have guessed that I like bunnies! Her artwork is so sweet, I just love the expression on her face, very cute indeed and I love those eye lashes. Being owned by four girly bunnies I do love the eyelashes! I can't tell whether this is a reproduction of one of her artworks or the original but you can tell that it is hand created as you can see the pen marks so you know you are not buying something mass produced.

The next dashboard is a letter filigree in black and white. Very classic and chic, doesn't it look great in the nude original Filofax! This piece is very detailed, I don't know how she has the patience for it, I sure as heck don't, I am a smack paint down and move it around kind of girl so I really do appreciate the time taken to create this.  Very classy look to the front of your planner I think. Again you can see the pen marks so you know this has been hand created.

As you know when I review anything I always give you my honest opinion as that is only fair and square. Unfortunately the next two are not to my taste but that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with the dashboards themselves, just that I am not drawn to this particular design but I can appreciate the work that has gone into it nonetheless.

So overall what do I think? Very nice dashboards of a quality that I would expect and is inline with others that I have purchased or seen elsewhere so I would be happy to purchase these and to reccommend them. I am not sure what the artwork was created on but you can see some ripples. This appears to be on the artwork itself and not a bubble. You can best see this on the two heart dashboards above.

If you would like to find out more about Megan or purchase any of her dashboards you can find her here:

Book Review: Bitten by Kelley Armstrong

Bitten: Number 1 in series (Otherworld)

Author: Kelley Armstrong
Publisher: Orbit (6 May 2010)
ISBN: 978-1841499185

From the back:

I've been fighting it all night. I'm going to lose ... Nature wins out. It always does.'

Elena Michaels didn't know that her lover Clay was a werewolf until he bit her, changing her life forever. Betrayed and furious, she cannot accept her transformation, and wants nothing to do with her Pack - a charismatic group of fellow werewolves who say they want to help.

When a series of brutal murders threatens the Pack - and Clay - Elena is forced to make an impossible choice. Abandon the only people who truly understand her new nature, or help them to save the lover who ruined her life, and who still wants her back at any cost.

My Review:

My friend gave me this book along with a pile of others she no longer wanted. I have to admit that I put this to the bottom of the pile thinking that I wouldn't be interested in it. I have no idea why, just that I didn't think it would float my boat as it were.

I have never been that fascinated with warewolves, vampires yes, warewolves no. I don't know why either, I guess that haven't been romanticised quite as much as vampires have I suppose. I always think it is wrong to enter into a book with negative thoughts, you know the "I'm not sure if this is my thing but I will give it a try anyway" yet I still do and obviously this is why it was lurking on my shelf for a while. I am making a determined effort to read what I have before I buy any more books and wanting something to read I picked this up. At the time I started reading this, I was daily vlogging and also posted a couple of photos of the book on instagram to be met with comments from many people saying that they loved the book and thoroughly enjoy Kelley Armstrong's work. The more I saw these comments, the more I wanted to press on with the book.

So what did I think. Well I have to say I did thoroughly enjoy it. It wasn't super gripping but enough to make me want to keep on reading to find out what happened, even though I kinda new what the end result was going to be. I liked the take on the warewolves not actually being 'bad guys' and I really liked the relationship development between the pack. I am not a massive feminist but I did really like the concept of the World's only female warewolf. This is something that I had never thought of before but I did like the way that this was woven into the story and that she was just as much needed as the male brothers. I sometimes think that this can be overworked into a plot but I think that the balance of female empowerment in a mans World was just right and added to the story rather than taken away. Other elements of the book that I really enjoyed are Elena's battle with does she let the warwolf side of her take over or does she try and focus more on her human side, can the two sides of her co-exist? There are some nicely woven in issues surrounding identity, denial and self acceptance and again this was very well handled.

I didn't realise that this was the first in a series, the way it is written to me it could quite happily be a stand alone book. I did really enjoy this book and now that I know it is a series I have put the 2nd on my wish list but I am not in a desperate hurry to go and read it. Should I be? Please let me know if you have read it and think that I should prioritise this read.

Book Review - A Season to Remember

A Season to Remember
Author: Sheila O Flanagan
Publisher: Headline Review (27 Oct 2011)
ISBN: 978-0755375172

From the back cover:

An enchanting collection of warm, poignant and Christmas-themed stories from Sunday Times bestselling author Sheila O'Flanagan.

In this wonderful collection of interlinked short stories Sheila O'Flanagan brings her own trademark sparkle to Christmas - a time when friends, families and lovers traditionally come together and when every person is hoping their wishes will come true...

My Review:

I like to read a Christmassy, heart warming story in the run up to Christmas, it just helps me to get in the mood. I like to just get all cosy and settle down with the twinkly lights on and read a festive book, I don't normally mind which one.

A Season to Remember appealed to me as it is a collection of stories with a running theme. The theme is that it is set at Christmas (obviously) and that the people involved in the stories are all staying in the Sugar Loaf Lodge.

I have to say that I both enjoyed this book and also didn't enjoy it. I know that sounds a bit on the odd side but let me explain. I loved that the way it is written is all snuggly and cosy and makes you want to block out the rest of the world and just get nestled into the book. For me that certainly filled the brief and the objective. That is exactly what I wanted to do and exactly what I got! It was a nice and pleasant read. You didn't have to think too hard about it at all which was just perfect, you could concentrate on just enjoying the story. Thing is I found some of the stories a little disappointing. Some of them were just a bit too short and I was left wanting a bit more. I also got a little fed up in some ways of waiting for the book to 'get going'. I was constantly waiting for the climax. Maybe I shouldn't have thought like that, maybe I should have just taken it as it was and just gone with the flow. I think I have read one too many 'dramatic books' with lots of action that I was just waiting for the crunch point whereas I should have just enjoyed it for the story that it was maybe?

All in all though I did enjoy it for the snuggly read that it was!

Book Review - The Map to Adventure

The Map to Adventure
Author: Rebecca Taylor
ISBN: 978-1502882240
Publisher: CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (20 Oct 2014)

From the back:

When Amelia and Max find a tattered map in an old book in the library, their lives will be changed forever. Embark on an epic fantasy adventure treasure hunt through a land of mystery and suspense filled with fantasy creatures and an adventure quest the two children will never forget. For the two unusual children, Amelia and Max, who hang out in the library when everyone else is playing in the sunshine outside, the adventure and mystery begins when Amelia finds a dusty old book about pirates that just happens to contain a map to some secret, hidden treasure – and it just so happens the trail starts right there in the library. When they find the old bookcase marked with the sign of the Oak Tree, the children’s fantasy comes to life, and they find themselves facing mystery and suspense in the forest of enchantment. With the help of an owl named Oliver and many more fantasy creatures, the pair begin their adventure quest, never once turning aside from the treasure hunt despite the danger that dogs their footsteps.

Through the Forest of Enchantment and the bleak Fire Mountains to the border of a great freshwater lake they trek, and discover an underwater cave that leads them to a bay where mermaids and murderous pirates roam. Now, the adventure and mystery of the treasure map is not the only problem they must overcome, but will their determination be enough? And what about this prophecy the mermaids spoke of, the one concerning Amelia and her title of ‘chosen one’?

A children’s fantasy adventure like no other, ‘The Map to Adventure’ will lead you on a magical journey through the realms of the imagination and leave you wanting more.

My Review:

I was asked if I could review this book and given a copy of it by the author in return for an honest review. I do really enjoy reading children's fiction, mostly the ones that everyone has read like Harry Potter, Inkheart etc and I love them but I haven't read many children's books of late and I have certainly never written a review of them. The review part is where I struggle a little as I don't think you can review a children's book in the same way you can an adult fiction or a young adult but I will certainly try my best so please bear with me.

This is actually quite a short book being only 116 pages long I am not sure as to what age range this book is aimed at which again makes this a little tricky to review. I do think that the shortness of the book has both pros and cons. For me the pro would be that children of a younger age may find this easier to read as the book wouldn't feel quite so daunting. For older children and as was the case for me, I read through this really quickly and was left wanting a lot lot more.

I think this is a lovely story with a great idea, lovely characters and on the whole a fantastic concept. This is Rebecca's first novel at age 23. In part this book does show that this is her first novel but I think that it also shows the foundations of a great writer. As I said the book has a lovely story line to it but I very much felt at times that there should have been more embellishment, more description and Max and Amelia whizzed through each section a little too easily for my liking, I would have liked them to spend a little longer, done more things, explore more, met more people, had more adventures in each part of the World they visited, instead they just seemed to walk through each World to the next. The ending was really interesting and different, not what I expected at all. I don't want to give the ending away as that would spoil it. I liked the ending but I did feel like that the author could have gone into a little more indepth and to me that wasn't the ending, it was the beginning. Maybe there is another book in the works? I don't know but there certainly could be...I want to know more about that treasure they find, more about the circumstances, the who, the what, the why etc. without giving it away, it is not your typical chest of coins type of treasure!

The book has a great grounding and basis it just needs a bit more content for my liking. As I said reviewing a children's book from an adult point of view is tricky, maybe a child would think totally differently. For me it needs a bit more meat on the bones. Rebecca is good at the description she just needs to take it a bit further. I would really like to see her re-work this book. Keep it as it is maybe for a younger audience as it is very easy to read but for older children or children with a higher reading capacity it would be great to see a meatier version of the book. I don't think the story needs to change just more of it as I have said previously.

The only thing I didn't like and I have to be honest here otherwise it is not an honest review, is the font used in the book. I found it annoying and tricky to read and would prefer a more traditional font such as times new roman but again kiddies might not mind and may like it.

So all in all I did genuinely like the story (I just want more of it) and I would buy this for the little people in my life as I am sure they would like it too. I hope Rebecca writes more and I am looking forward to seeing what they are! If you or your children have read this book I would love to know what you thought.

Kawaii Product Review: Kawaii Lucky Dip Club

You know that I like my Kawaii items, I have been sharing various products of late. Well I was contacted by Rainbow Beauty the people behind the Kawaii Lucky Dip Club if they could send me some items for review. I do like to try out new things to share with you all so I said yes!

All of the items they sent me are handmade and all of them are Kawaii inspired / related as you would expect with the name Kawaii ; )

The first item that they kindly sent me was a charm / key ring.  It is fun and cute and I immediately thought that this would look sweet as a planner charm. What do you think? It comes on a black cord which you could use on bags and phones too but being the planner person that I am putting it on a planner was the first thing that sprang to mind!

Now then, one key thing to mention about this charm which really adds to the appeal for me is that is is actually an eraser. The idea behind this product is that you can add this to your pencil case, or in my case my planner and never have to loose your eraser again. Very clever I thought! I am always loosing my eraser so this is pretty nifty. I haven't tried using it though so I am just going on idea and looks alone.

The next item that they sent me is a phone strap. There is a big 'handle' is that what you call it? Maybe wristlet is a better term? I am not really sure what they are called to be honest, anyway, big enough to be able to put your hand through lol. I personally don't use phone straps but I am thinking that this would be pretty cool as a camera strap as I always seem to have a camera around whilst I am vlogging away so this would be great. I wouldn't have to worry about dropping it as it would always be safely around my wrist.

Now this is just my personal taste and nothing against the product, but I am not keen on the large bell. I think it would irritate me a little but you could easily take it off if you wanted to. You may like the bell, everyone has their own personal tastes and the beauty with this is that you can customise it to suit you. You could even put more charms and things on if you wanted to because the ring is big enough to be able to do that with.

The strawberry is wooden and is just darling. The little strawberry face very much appeals to my love of Kawaii food items especially fruit! Again my little brain whirrs away and I am thinking he would make a cute planner charm!

And very lastly they sent me two rings. They are very sweet although I couldn't try them on because I have podgy fingers at the best of times and following my recent accident my fingers on my left hand are huge, hence no photo of me wearing them!

They are cute and if you like your dress rings then they are perfect. For me they wouldn't be an everyday wear as I couldn't cope with anything too big and bulky or dangly but for going out they would be fab! I love the mint colour of the bow and the fimo marshmallow is very cute!
