Well... almost. As I write this it actually isn't even Halloween yet, but I'm trying to be super prepared this year. My birthday is in mid December and my goal is to get everything Christmas card and gift related completey sorted by then so I can really enjoy the season. And some Christmassy Brimbles stickers have helped me on my way to that goal!
I started out doing something a bit different, as I fancied trying something new with the stickers. And so I made some gift tags!
I made the tags on my silhouette machine with some standard Christmas cardstock, but they're very simple shapes it would be very easy to draw and cut them or use a die cut machine. The cardstock needed to be something simple so the pattern wouldn't take attention away from the stickers. I cut up the washi strips, as well as some red and green glittery washi I had in my stash, and layered them at the bottom or sides of the tags, then added the cute mice from the decorative sheet as the main elements.
Then looped either some Christmas ribbon or washi through the top of the tag and they were done! A really simple craft but I think quite effective. The tags are super cute and will look great either on gifts or in the pockets of my Christmas planner. I could also use them in happy mail, as bookmarks, and even as decorations.
Next was my usual sticker project, which was to decorate a week in my personal size planner.
There was quite a lot of layering and sticker clustering involved in this spread - one of my favourite things to do! Here are some close ups:
With some of the remaining stickers I decorated some pages in my Christmas planner, just to add a bit of fun to some otherwise plain pages.
With the remaining checklist and other functional stickers, I'll be using them in my Christmas planner as and when needed to make to do lists, shopping lists, or highlight important things.
This month's kit has certainly made me feel way more Christmassy than I usually do two months before the event, I hope my projects have given you some ideas and inspiration. Thanks so much for reading!

As well as the above video I thought I would share some of my favourite photos. Well not all of them as some of them have sticky notes over to protect Miss B's identity and they don't look as great with them on but needs must!
I started my journal with a little pocket with a letter in it. I had seen this idea in many flip throughs and it seemed like a good idea. It just has things in it like what we have been through in the year both as a family and wider society.
There are quite a few selfies of me in my journal and there is a couple of reasons for that and it is not pure narcissism. Firstly it is my journal and a documentation of me as well as my family and secondly as a mother I am usually the one taking photos and I feel that it is important to have photos of me for my tiddly to look back on in years to come.
I can't remember exactly when I got my Fuse tool but I know it was all so new to me still and I just wanted to fuse all the things! The benefit of making your own inserts is that you can put what the heck you like in it. I added in some Project Life pocket inserts that I had cut down which I slipped photos and cards into. I also saw on my internet travels people keeping pine needles from their tree so I thought I would do the same. I didn't dry them, I put them in fresh and 6 months on they still look pretty good. It's one of those quirky things that I love and I will probably do every year.
Don't get me wrong I love photos of people but I also love documenting other things that make up my life. As you can see I documented how our Christmas tree looked as well as all the knick knacks on my side board. Normally I am a minimalist in my decor but at Christmas I go all out because I think it looks cozy. I also photographed the radiator with all Miss B's Christmas jumpers drying on them. This was our first year being parents and we went all in so it was cute things like this that were just as fun to document. I also documented activities like ornament making. All things that I hope Miss B will look back on fondly even if she can't remember doing it.
This was our first year as a family as I mentioned so we introduced new traditions like a Christmas Eve box for tiddly. I documented the tradition and what she got too.
I have a fab little app on my phone called Catch Santa which I stumbled across last year and used it again this year. Basically you take a photo of your house, presents under the tree or whatever you want and you then use their app to add Father Christmas in as if he was really there. I do find that it is noticeably fake so I then also edit my photo in either instagram or Little Moments app to give it a filter which helps to calm it down and make it look like one photo. These things I can do in Photoshop but it is so quick and easy to do on your phone, perfect to do whilst nibbling on a mince pie and a really cute and fun addition to your album,
One can never have too much sparkle of fusing right? Oh and snap chat filters. Gotta love me a snap chat filter lol!

I'm so excited to share my planner layout with you all this week, because it's Christmas week!
This week I used items from the November Brimbles Box and one of the highlights was using the die-cut sticky note mug that came in
this month's box! I don't really use sticky notes at all, especially large ones, but occasionally I do love to include them as a feature on my planner
pages - particularly if they're decorative ones.
I also used one of the cut-apart journaling
cards as my header background and I love the script-y font and all the Christmas-themed words!
I know a lot of people don't like to include dimensional stickers in their planners because of bulk, but honestly, using a few enamel dots here and
there never hurts, and it adds a fun element to your page. Anna's gorgeous little Christmas holly was the perfect addition to my page!
Anna's hand-drawn stickers are fun and bright and I
always love scattering them all over my pages!
I was so excited to see Anna's tiny word
stickers in last month's box, because I LOVE tiny word stickers so much and now I have some Christmas-themed ones!
So that's my process!

Today I am sharing my subscription box from Mrs. Brimbles. This is the November subscription box and it is full of goodies. I loved all the reds!! It was so vibrant this box. Several cute sticker sets and post cards that you can use to dress up your planner or laminate and make a cute dashboard.
I of course took one of the 12 x 12 papers and made a pocket folder for my A5 Kikki it is so easy to make these. I have showed several DIY's and if you own a cutting machine there are files out there you can purchase to make it even easier! I stuck the notepad in my pocket.
Epoxy dots and gingerbread men, reindeers and a cup of hot cocoa what more do you need! Loads of cute word stickers too.
I love this cute felt paperclip. It went perfect in my pocket folder! And Hello! I love that polka dot washi tape!

I have the Mrs. Brimbles Advent Box that arrived. Oh my don't she know that I sneak peeks! Seriously all these cute little red and white packages to open each day of Dec. If you didn't get one this year remember to grab one next year because she does it every year so far and people love it!

Wow, well this months Brimbles box has arrived and all I could say at first was "wow" for 2 reasons really number 1. It's amazing the theme is right up my street, Christmas has got to be one of my favourite times of year not just for the receiving of gifts, it's not about that for me it's about quality family time, snuggly evenings, family games and good food of course and number 2. Because it hit me at just how fast this year has gone and the fact 2017 is just around the corner.
When I opened the box and had chance to take everything in I set everything out and it just screamed Christmas planner set-up at me so that's exactly what I chose to do with some of the contents, well in my case my Christmas planner is actually a Christmas section in the back of my everyday planner as it is easier for me to keep track of everything this way.
In this months box there were 3 Amazing 12 x 12 Scrapbook papers so I started off by making a dashboard with the Santa and Reindeer one as I have laminated it I have used the back attach my hot drink sticky notes on to, these also came in the box, they are so so cute and can be used for lots of things Anna is so creative when it comes to designing stock for the boxes the items are always so versatile and unique.
Something that wasn't in the box but was from Anna's Etsy shop are my Christmas inserts, there are a variety of printable inserts on the Mrs Brimbles Etsy shop so if these ones don't suit you I'm sure something else there will, but I chose the reindeer ones who doesn't love a bit of Rudolph at Christmas eh?
I wanted something to display my Christmas Washi tapes so I cut, punched and laminated 1 of the pages from the Santa list pad also from this months box and used is as a washi card - how cute is that list pad though? perfect for the kids Christmas lists.
I have used some of the cut apart card, the postcard from the box and the gorgeous paperclip from Cherry Blossom in the Market Square to decorate the section and I still have lots of beautiful bits from the box left to use on other festive projects.
This is my Carpe Diem Reset Girl planner I started using in the fall.
I love supporting artists you design their own planner things. It makes me feel like I have something special. These cups are so super cute that Anna has designed. I am a coffee girl and a whipped cream hot chocolate girl and I have put the little latte's everywhere!
The pumpkin cup is from the October box, and behind it I keep my Starbucks gift cards.
She also made mug sticky note cards. SUPER CUTE.
This is the last week of November and I wanted to get a little of the Christmas spirit in here and get a little festive.
Having the cute stickers and taking the time to decorate started to make me feel good about the holidays again.
I think baby deer are going to be my new thing.
In the back of my planner is where I keep my writing journal. The bike sticker is from the October Brimble's Box.
I love that The Brimble Box kit comes with journal stickers and phrases. I use them as writing prompts.
I will also put them on photos to scrapbook with them later in the month.
