My First month in my Fauxbonichi & Flip Through

When I first shared my Fauxbonichi with you a month ago now (wow where has the time gone!) I said that I would come back again and update you with how I have been getting on etc and I was really flattered that so many asked to see more of my journal. I really am very flattered and of course I am happy to share.

I am using my fauxbonichi as a method of recording the day so there isn't really anything confidential in there, I am still using my written journal to process thoughts and feelings as and when I need to. I am really enjoying using this journal though, I can see why everyone loves it. I love the gridded notepaper and I really like the style of journalling.

As you can see my style is evolving and starting to show through, especially towards the end of the month. You will see that some days are more art based and others more writing based. I like to do whatever I feel like on any particular day.

I thought I would share with you in my video the entire month flip and then on the blog here I thought I would share some of my favourite pages.

Even the more mundane things in life like doing the laundry are worth remembering!

I got Jon to doodle in my journal on holiday to see his point of view. I love his little pencil doodles of us. He did them in pencil so I could rub them out. Why on earth would I want to do that!

I have also been using stickers to decorate and embellish my pages as well as doodles.

  1. Absolutely love your fauxbonichi! You've inspired me to take up some form of journaling but I don't really have a lot of um, excitement on most days so mine will be quite boring, I think.

    1. honestly my days aren't that exciting but it makes you FIND something in your everyday. In years to come I bet your daughter would love to read about what you did in your everyday life, I know I would love to learn more about my parents x

  3. Your journalling pages are brilliant. Mine are just quite short, as I can never think what to write, and when I try to draw something even I dont even know what I am trying to draw (they are that bad, lol). You are very helpful in showing us the way to try and improve our techniques. Thankyou for sharing them with us.
